Heather McKiel was born in Upstate, New York. From an early age Heather enjoyed performing in front of an audience. "I remember singing and dancing in my mother's hair salon for her customers, they always enjoyed the entertainment while getting their hair cut." A fun loving girl and entertainer, Heather held the lead role in the school play at age nine and began performing publicly with a small group. Heather had a true love for music. Heather's mother would always play Patsy Cline for her and Heather recalls " feeling the power and emotion behind her voice."

One can see the emotional intensity that Heather brings to her performance. There is sincerity in her singing that mesmerizes her audiences, spurring an immediate connection to her listeners. Heather's musical influences include such artists as Barbara Streisand, Pasty Cline, Elvis, Bonnie Raitt. She states "I admire these singers because they sing from their hearts. They have a passion in their singing and they sing quality songs."

Heather holds some imposing credentials. She has performed at many venues including the 250th celebration for the city of Ogdensburg - NY, Awkwesasne Mohawk Casino, Lewis County Fair, Tootsie's Orchid Lounge and the Wildhorse Saloon.

"Performing is such a thrill," says Heather. "To have people connect with your music feels great." An enthralling performer, Heather has a voice that has enough power and range to make it worth remarking on. Heather sounds as if her passion could swallow the world. What lifts her performance miles above nostalgia is that she delivers her feelings with astonishing power and enthusiasm.

Heather says, "Each day I try to get as much out of life as I can – to keep it real, sincere and honest, and if I'm lucky, one day I will be able to look back and say that I made a difference in someone's life with my music."
